Where can I find my Perplexity Pro invoices?

Inside Perplexity, go to Settings and open the Subscription tab, or jump straight to perplexity.ai/settings/subscription. Click Manage subscription to open the Stripe customer portal. Each billing cycle has its own row with a Download link for the invoice PDF. There is no invoice archive directly inside perplexity.ai itself.

Does Perplexity email invoices automatically?

Perplexity sends a Stripe receipt to your account email after each successful renewal, and that email contains a link to the hosted invoice. A receipt is not always enough for strict finance teams, which is why most bookkeepers ask for the invoice PDF from the Stripe portal. If you want those PDFs captured without a monthly reminder, Inbox Ledger pulls the linked invoice automatically from the receipt email.

Is Perplexity Enterprise billed in the same place as Pro?

No. Enterprise Pro workspaces have a separate admin console with its own seat management, payment methods, and invoice history, and the flow is handled by the Perplexity sales team rather than the self-serve app. If you are on Enterprise, the consumer Subscription tab inside your personal Perplexity account will not show the workspace invoices even when your company is paying. Ask the admin who owns the workspace to pull them from the console.

How is Sonar API billing different from Pro billing?

Sonar API usage runs on its own pay-as-you-go billing page at perplexity.ai/settings/api, separate from the consumer Pro subscription. Pro is a flat monthly or annual charge, while API usage bills based on calls and models consumed. You can be on both at once and you will get two independent invoice trails, one per service. Most accounting setups treat them as two separate line items.

Can I add my VAT or tax ID to Perplexity invoices?

Yes. Open the Stripe customer portal through Manage subscription, find the Billing information block, and add your legal entity name, billing address, and VAT or GST number. Future renewals will use those details. Past invoices cannot be edited by you, but Perplexity support can reissue corrected copies inside the same tax year on request.

Does Perplexity offer monthly and annual billing for Pro?

Yes. Pro is available at 20 USD per month or an annual plan billed once a year at a discount. Monthly plans produce twelve invoices per year, one per renewal. Annual plans produce one large PDF at the start of the billing year. The invoice layout is identical across both cadences, only the billing period line changes.

Why does my Perplexity invoice say "Stripe" on it?

Perplexity processes card payments through Stripe, so the PDF is generated by Stripe on behalf of Perplexity AI, Inc. The seller name on the invoice is still Perplexity AI, Inc., the invoice number is a Perplexity number, and the line items reflect your actual Pro plan. The Stripe branding is cosmetic and is accepted by every tax authority we have seen.

What is the difference between a Perplexity receipt and a Perplexity invoice?

The receipt is the short confirmation email Stripe sends after a successful charge, usually with a summary of the amount and a payment link. The invoice is the formal billing document with an invoice number, a Bill to block, VAT or GST line items where applicable, and a finalized seller name. Most finance teams will reject a receipt on its own and require the PDF invoice. Both come from Stripe, but only the invoice counts as a supplier document for your books.

Can I download all my Perplexity invoices at once?

No. The Stripe customer portal supports one click per invoice, and Perplexity does not expose invoice PDFs through any public API. If you have more than a few months of history to archive, the quickest path is to forward or connect the billing inbox to Inbox Ledger, which captures each Stripe receipt from Perplexity as it lands and attaches the downloadable invoice automatically.

Can my accountant see Perplexity invoices without seeing my search history?

Not directly. Consumer Pro is a single-user subscription with no role system, so anyone who can open Settings also sees every thread you have saved. For a clean permission split, either forward each invoice manually, add them as a secondary billing contact in the Stripe portal so renewal emails reach their inbox, or route Perplexity receipts through Inbox Ledger and share only the invoice dashboard.

Why did my Perplexity renewal fail and leave an unpaid invoice?

Stripe marks an invoice as unpaid when the card on file is declined, expired, or blocked by the bank. The unpaid invoice sits in the portal until Stripe retries, and a fresh invoice with a new number is issued once the retry succeeds. Use the paid invoice for your books, not the failed one. If every retry fails the subscription cancels and no invoice ever finalizes, so there is nothing to file.

Go to perplexity.ai and sign in with the email that actually owns the subscription. Consumer Pro billing is tied to a single user, not a workspace, so the account that pays is the only one that sees invoices. If you set the subscription up on a personal email and then moved the charge to a company card, make sure you log in as the original Pro owner.

Why people stop doing this by hand

One person, one Pro seat, one annual renewal: the Stripe portal is enough. The mess starts when the same company pays for Pro under a founder email, Enterprise Pro under an ops email, and Sonar API under a developer email, all in the same month. Perplexity Pro is billed monthly or annually. Annual plans renew as a single upfront charge once a year, so you get one PDF per year rather than twelve. Budget for that when the renewal month comes around.
Sonar API billing is completely separate from the consumer Pro subscription. Usage invoices appear on the API page, not under Subscription, and they run on their own pay-as-you-go cadence.
Enterprise Pro workspaces bill through an admin console with its own seat management and invoice history. If you are on Enterprise, the consumer Subscription tab in your personal account will be empty even when your company is paying.
